What is a Homeowner Association (HOA)?

Homeowner associations (HOAs) are usually formed within planned communities or neighborhoods of single-family homes or multiple-unit buildings.  An HOA is typically established to make and enforce rules regarding the properties within the jurisdiction. An HOA is comprised of—and run by—the community’s residents.  HOA’s are instrumental in helping a community maintain or increase their property values.

Board members of the HOA consist of your neighborhood residents that volunteer their time to fulfill these roles and responsibilities
